(Doxycycline 10% + Neomycin10% Water Soluble Oral Powder I.P.)

This water-soluble antibiotic formulation combines the broad-spectrum power of Doxycycline (10%) and Neomycin (10%), offering poultry farmers a superior solution for managing bacterial infections. The unique synergy between a tetracycline (Doxycycline) and an aminoglycoside (Neomycin) ensures enhanced efficacy, rapid action, and wide coverage against both Gram-positive and Gram-negative pathogens affecting poultry health and productivity.
Superior Combination
- Doxycycline is highly effective against respiratory and systemic bacterial infections, with excellent tissue penetration.
- Neomycin acts primarily in the gastrointestinal tract, targeting enteric infections and preventing gut-associated bacterial complications.
- Together, they provide a dual-site mode of action: systemic coverage with Doxycycline and localized intestinal activity with Neomycin.
Efficacy & Spectrum
- Active against a broad range of bacteria including E. coli, Salmonella, Pasteurella, Mycoplasma, and other respiratory and enteric pathogens.
- Helps reduce mortality, improve growth performance, and maintain flock uniformity.
- Effective even in mixed infections where single antibiotics may fail.
Mode of Action
- Doxycycline: Inhibits bacterial protein synthesis by binding to the 30S ribosomal subunit, halting bacterial growth and multiplication.
- Neomycin: Irreversibly binds to the bacterial ribosome, causing misreading of mRNA and leading to rapid bacterial cell death.
- The combined action ensures both bacteriostatic and bactericidal effects, reducing resistance risks and delivering superior clinical outcomes.
